"A & E and ENT both superb"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital

I attended A & E with a suspected stroke on Friday at 11.0 pm, which is a busy time for them. However, they couldn't do enough. I had every conceivable treatment and test through the night, including CT scans, which concluded with a diagnosis of Bells Palsy. A follow up four days later with a consultant was equally thorough. Hearing and eyesight were checked in considerable detail, and follow up appointments arranged. I cannot speak too highly of the high standard of care and professional concern that was shown throughout. The NHS is in very good hands in Victoria Hospital. Well done to all the staff.
