"ward 6 cardio"

I have been on ward 6 three times over the past two years each time i have encountered problems during my stay Dont get me wrong the staffin the majority are excellent.However their are certain staff who have no compasion,sympathy,empathy,patience or professionalism. The last time i had a unit placed in my arm. norrmally can be left in three days, this was left in over this time.despite complaining that it was painful and raw it was only ripped out the day before i was due at goodhope hosptal for heart surgery.subsequently i developed acute blood piosonig which wad almost fatal. The operation was cancelled 5 times whilst i recovered. Yes there are very good staff on ward 6 but there are one or two that need to look elswhere for a career where you may not need to think of the patient as human being who is scared about what is happening. I can only end by saying some staff where exceptionally polite ,proffessional and just what you expect nursing staff to be
