Our grandfather was admitted to the QMC via A&Er he spent two night on ward b3 and was then transferred to ward D55. Our grandad had been very unwell but is starting to feel better, my brother and I were very worried about him, but we felt so reassured by the amazing standard of care that he received from the nursing and medical team. The communication from the team was fantastic with my brother and I, and that level of communication has continued throughout the week.
All of the staff have been great, I would like to mention three particular staff. Staff nurse mark who took time to explain everything that was happening to grandad but also listen to us.
Student Nurse Hayley she is very insightful and genuine, you will be a great nurse.
And finally a ward sister who's name I cannot recall however she worked the night shift on Friday 24th October, she was a very genuine and professional.
Thank you from all of us you made a horrible week in our lives less stressful.
