"Fantastic care for knee replacements"

In the last twelve months, I have had both knees replaced at Russells Hall hospital. The care before, during and after was first class. I had problems with my spine and the care that was taken by the nurses that saw me in assessment and the nurses on the ward after my operation was the best that I could have received.

The surgical team were excellent and were very mindful of my needs and every care was taken to see to my well being. I was visited by the one of the team after my operations to see that all was well and that I was comfortable and satisfied at what I had done. The nurses on the ward during my after care were attentive to the needs of the patients.

The cleaning staff were always cheerful and kept the ward up to a high standard. The food was well cooked and hot we can all complain about hospital food but considering the the quantity the quality was ok. The Physiotherapy was very good and every care was taken to help your recovery. Gail Parsons and her team did an excellent job before and after my operations. My thanks to all concerned. Special thanks to Mr. Clare, Dr. Funkel and Dr. Danks.
