"Visit to the EAU UNIT"

I was admitted to the EAU Unit with chest and higher back pain which was dealt with very efficieny by the doctors, my concern was the nurses on call that night , they were more concerned with each other than looking after and caring for the sick , I was left uninformed and left to sit for hours without no direction or care from the nurses , after two hours I asked if I could lay down , once laying down I waited for another three hours until 3. 30 am to what was going to happen next ! Only to be told I was in hospital for the night as the consultant wanted to see me in the morning ! I was offered.not even a drink or a blanket until 9 am the next morning the nurses were not overworked that night , most of them talking amongst themselves for hours very loudly , all four patients in my ward were fed up of this as we could not sleep , all the nurses showed lack of care and respect for all their patients , just a smile would have been nice when you are not feeling that well !
