"Hygiene"

On my recent visit to Orsett Ophthalmology Department for a cataract Operation I found that the Hygiene Habit of one of the Theatre Nurses needs to be addressed. I observed one of the Nurses pick up a tissue from the table in the middle of the room blow her nose into the tissue ,dispose of it into a bin and just carried on with her duties without washing her hands,unlike another Nurse who performed the same with a tissue and promptly washed her hands afterwards.I was waiting to have my eye operation,and seeing what this Nurse did unnerved me somewhat.I thought that was the first priority of everyone especially Nurses.
