"childrens ward/ent"

About: Pilgrim Hospital

oct 2014 my son had his operation on his ears- 1 wk before he went to pre-assessment clinic which was very well ran and with very polite efficient staff ,i mentioned that my son needed a tooth removed and the waiting list was 9 months long and the nurse there was happy to contact the max fax department to see if his bad tooth could be removed at the same time as having his operation on his ears ,they contacted my sons dentist and the very next day they contacted me to say it could happen and to go to pre- assessment in the max fax department to sign consent forms.the day of the operation i had a very scared upset little boy but the male nurse on childrens ward was very very kind and friendly and reassuring to my son which helped so much. the porter was kind, the anesthetists and theater staff were kind and patient again with my extremely upset son at this point!! the ent surgeon was super kind and very calm and patient with my son and told me everything i needed to know- such a lovely doctor- the recovery team staff filled me in on everything to!! cant fault them 100% satisfied with pilgrim hospital- cant thank them enough- i really believe people are quick to share the negatives but its important that we share all the positives too-
