"care on ward 15"

About: Alexandra Hospital

i as a qualified nurse myself was absolutely disgusted with the standards of care my young daughter recieved at the hands of the staff on ward 15. my daughter had been in and out of the ward for a while whilst exspect her daughter but on the night of the 16th of october after being induced during that week she what into active labour and was ignored by the two qualified staff that was on duty that night. she was in sever pain for at least 6 hours and was offered paracetamol when she asked for pethidine only to be told she was not in enough pain,. i was actually made to leave the ward and my daughter even though she was clearly in pain and distressed. but another family was made welcome given a side room and told her family could come and go as they pleased thoughout the night. the actually list of copmpllaints is so long it would take me a hour to type up. and do they have any idea what the meaning of privacy and diginity is no as no body asked before they flung opened the drawn curtains even the cleaner nurses doctors no body... i have actually my daughter next time she is going private or moving to birmingham their should be a shamed of themselves... very angry nanny...
