Comments I would like to say how impressed I was with the care that I received following a heart attack on Wednesday 15th Oct 2014. The ambulance crew were very efficient and calmed me down, the A & E dept looked after me very well keeping me informed of what was happening at all times. They contacted my family and work letting them know what had happened. Then I was transferred to the CCU, I was given a bed introduced to the nurse that would be looking after me that night and again everything was explained to me. the next morning the doctor saw me and explained that I had definitely had a heart attack and would need an angiogram to see what exactly had happened. This took place on Friday 17th Oct , when I needed two stents inserted. The doctor and the staff kept me informed of what was happening all the way through the procedure. I found the food to be very good, the cleanliness of the ward was very good, I did think that the shower area could have been a little cleaner. the air conditioning seemed to get very cold around 6am for about 2 hours. Again I would like to say that all staff attending me made a very unpleasant experience a positive one and I would like you to pass these comments on to them
