"Lovely Staff"

Had to visit A&E this morning at 5am. Its not the most sociable hour but the staff at the A&E desk were friendly, approachable and courteous. They kindly offered to follow up my paperwork when I wasn’t sure of the procedures. My first nurse was incredibly smiley considering she was coming to the end of her shift. She didn’t roll her eyes or moan when I walked straight into the staff area and got myself lost! Instead, she gave me detailed instructions of how to find my way around. This same positive attitude was followed by the doctor who took time to consider my pain and asked through questions which put me at ease. The radiographer was also incredibly friendly and her light hearted approach dissolved any nerves. My doctors review was honest and I was given the opportunity to talk about my treatment rather than just being lectured at. The waiting time on the board was 2hrs but was in and out in 1hr 15mins I am grateful to all staff I met today. I know Broomfield has its bad days and bad reviews, but today I was very proud of my local hospital. Thankyou.
