I had my breast cancer lump removed during October. All of the care I received at East Surrey Hospital Day Surgery Unit was excellent.
I do have one complaint about the Medihome services that I would like to have a response to. I was advised when I was discharged from the hospital to go home and that I would receive a call from Medihome between 7-9pm that evening.
I did NOT receive any call from Medihome.
When I called Medihome around 9am the day after the surgery, to find out why they had not called me the previous evening and to find out when they would come to see me, they could not find me on their system.
I don't think I should have been discharged without already being in the Medihome system. I am not confident that I would have been contacted by Medihome and could have been left at home without any post op care.
I would like to have this issue resolved.
