After recently being admitted as an emergency to QA on 29/9/14 I subsequently had an MRI Scan on Wed 08/10/14. I was told to make apt half an hour afterwards to discuss results/findings. This turned out to be the wrong advice wasting the time of another Doctor who had to explain we needed to wait longer but would hope that someone would contact us by Friday 10th. By the following Friday the 17th still no contact despite 3 phone calls from us to you. We were told eventually at 7.45pm on Friday17th that we would be contacted on Saturday18th between 10am and 6pm. Well as I write this I have not so much heard a peep from anyone at QA who could put my mind at rest or otherwise, despite giving up to date phone numbers to use and permission for them to speak to my husband as I would be at work. Alas they chose to call me on my mobile on Friday 17th after my husband had expressed his frustration on the phone to a receptionist resulting in 2 missed calls as Surprise surprise I was at work and could not take the call .I have no complaints medically but admin and communication channels are at best muddled and at worst very frustrating .Please think of the poor person sitting at home wondering and worrying about things as it is now 20 days since I was first admitted to Q A and I am none the wiser if there is anything wrong!!!
