About: Lister Hospital

Had to catch bus home to Wgc sfter appointment but all the benches were full of staff having cigarette breaks . Around the tree staff were sitting in a circle on the kerb stones on the floor smoking including nurses. As this is at the front it does not give a good first impression and having to stand with crutches whilst they sat was irritating .

We very much agree with you and are working with our staff, many of whom are from contractors, to remind them of their responsibilities. Unfortunately the area referred to lies just outside the Trust's property, limiting our options - but we are working with the local borough council to try and address the problem - we're definitely not taking it lightly!
