"Outstanding Maternity Care"

I would like to express my absolute delight and complete gratitude to all of the staff at Warwick Hospital who we came into contact with during the birth of my son. The care my wife received was absolutely top class, reassuring and thoughtful. I know the NHS is often used as a political football and am thrilled to say that the NHS I saw was not the one I sometimes see painted in the media but one that took the highest possible care of both my wife and my son. They also looked after me, the very concerned dad, when my wife required surgery following the birth and re-admittance 10 days later. The teams on Swan Ward and Labour Ward were excellent and allowed us both to feel very re-assured before, during and after delivery. The care we have received from our community midwife and health visitor have also been excellent. I asked many questions to help me understand what was happening and was always given time and consideration by your wonderful staff, re-assuring me and helping me to be there and supportive for my wife. When talking to friends who have given birth outside of Warwickshire it puts the care and service you have provided into an even more positive light and I would be grateful if you could pass my thanks on to your teams who really do deserve high praise.
