"Shocking service"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

My mam was on ward 42 a couple of weeks ago after being rushed in with diabetes. This was all new to her. She was shown how to check her blood twice a day and was put on a course of insultin tablets. Once she got the hang of testing her blood she was left to get on with it each day. She spent a week in hospital, had 3 bllod transfusion. It was only when she had been at home for 3 days that it was discovered she had not been given any needles or sharps box. She had been using the same needle for 10 days leaving her open to infection. This is shocking. She had server all blood test and bone marrow test. This was 3 weeks ago and we are still waiting thd results. This has happened on a few occassions now where we don't get any results back. What's the point
