"opthalmology delays again"

About: Essex County Hospital

Having had very long delays being seen at Essex County Hospital i have instead opted to see the same specialist at Clacton Hospital. Two months ago I had to leave without seeing the specialist as I had another appointment to keep and the specialist was running extremely late. Today, I waited but the specialist was still one and a quarter hours late which is better than at Colchester but still unacceptable. It would be a little quicker if we could understand each other better, even though my wife comes in as interpreter we still have problems. It is rather important that the patient understands what is being said.
