Because I was a private patient, being treated at another hospital and then being told that I would have to go to the QMC to have the operation was upsetting. The last time I visited the QMC, I contracted a virus and had to stay in the hospital for over 6 weeks. As a consequence of this, I was very concerned about having to go to this hospital again. However, as for being a private patient in an NHS hospital, I couldn't have received better treatment at all.
