"Massive improvements to my mental health with a diet change "

About: NHS England London

(as the patient),

Growing up with a unconfident nervous dyslexic disabled mother who relied on advice from NHS services, social services & often medicated for depression has been very poor quality.

My mother did not know how to prepare quality foods (Cook). As children my brother and I were not breast feed and this resulted in poor immune system development and nutritional deficiencies.

She continued to take us back and forth to Doctors, hospitals, social services and followed there advice. We were raised on Meat and two vegetables. However she did not know potato is not a vegetable.

My brother and I have suffered sickness for many years and a recent allergy test reviled I have intolerance's to the nightshade food group that I was raised on.

At 4 years old we were told I had a mental illness and this was the start of my 40 year battle with emotions.

The doctors response was to keep giving drugs to help our illnesses.

At 40 years old I have learnt the importance of nutrition, hydration and fasting and that this is the foundation of all medicine.

However over £500 thousand pounds have been spent on treatment and education for me personally but no one ever helped us expand our knowledge of food quality, variety and dangers in the modern world of additives, preservatives and pesticides.

I am utterly disgusted that I have had to suffer for all those years and look back at a history of pain, failure and distress that could have been avoided with some basic education in nutrition for my parents or myself as an adolescent.

I have a strict diet that is addressing the deficiencies from a poor diet for all those years and have experienced an increase in intelligence and a massive decrease in the intense emotional world I have endured that daily resulted in fits of rage while engaging the basic human flight of flight survival mode.
