"Caring and considerate"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital

The care in the Cardiac ITU following surgery was delivered by caring, considerate and knowledgeable nursing staff. My care on Ward 38 was good. My only complaint was the wait for discharge medication when my date was agreed 2 days prior to the actual date we still had to wait.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent inpatient stay in the Lancashire Cardiac Centre, Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

I am so pleased that all the staff on Cardiac ITU and on Ward 38 treated you in such a caring and considerate way. I will be sharing your feedback with the Matron's on Cardiac ITU and Ward 38 for them to share with the staff involved in your care.

I am sorry to hear that there was such a delay with your discharge, without further details, I am unable to comment as to why this happened, I hope this didn't have too much of a negative impact on your overall experience as an inpatient.

Best wishes for the future,

Paul Jebb
