"Ultrasound scan"

I am not the best patient, having a hospital phobia caused by a bad experience with anaesthetic when I was a child. I attended for my scan in quite a nervous state, but the ladies were lovely and explained things to me as they went through each area of my abdomen. I much prefer this hospital to Derby Royal and have visited a few times to the minor injuries department with my children. It has a personal touch and I have always found the staff to have lots of time for us. Also you don't have to pay for car parking! Definitely worth travelling a few miles to avoid a long wait in Derby Royal A&E (unless of course you have something seriously wrong).
