"Thanks for nothing"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Unfortunately my girlfriend had to visit this hospital due to a cut to her face. They told her to wait in a different area and then forgot about her while she waited patiently for an hour or more until she went and found someone and they had to put her on the system again. All the time her face bleeding all over her. She finally got to see someone and had x-rays and was given the all clear. They still didn't do anything about the bleeding of the deep cut. She came home and I thought she should have stitches or at least a butterfly strip on her cut and so we booked a doctors appointment the next day. Low and behold the nurse at the surgery said it should have had strips put on it but after trying the cut had dried just a little too much to close it up for the strips. She was very apologetic and could not understand why Hull Royal Infirmary didn't do anything about the cut especially as it is on her face. She actually apologised on behalf of the NHS. I hope I never have to visit this hospital.
