"I am restored to humanity, after 3 years of pain!"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

Since retirement 2 years ago, I have suffered debilitating bladder/urinary tract pain and all sorts of horrible complications. Eventually, a large number of stones were identified. An operation was performed, 6 days ago under General Anaesthetic, when over 40 stones were removed. 2 follow-up visits to Clinical measurements followed this week, under the management of Clinical Measurements. My catheter was removed during the first visit and, since then, I have felt completely restored to normality! I am no longer tired or grumpy, I can sleep through the whole night for the first time in ages and I now have the vigour and physical comfort of someone at least 30 years my junior. All-in-all...you are all wonderful and I take my battered old hat off to the whole team who were involved in sorting out this silly old gentleman. Great service (with a smile) especially as my operation took place on my birthday. The best present that I could have wished for. Thank You all so much!! I hope the staff on Dart Ward enjoyed the cake! Best wishes; John W. Smith
