"The Birth Place was an amazing experience!"

I arrived at the Birth Place on the 2nd June 2014 unaware that I was in labour. My partner and I were pleased with the facilities and thought the facilities where amazing and very clean, modern and smart. After being examined and told I was 7cm dilated and not far from delivering my baby I was quickly moved to the Daisy suite where the pool was filled for me. The room was perfect and I was so happy with everything that was on offer. Radio, lava lamps, lovely shower room, pool. The staff made me tea and where so organised and friendly. I felt very relaxed even though I was in labour. It was a lovely calm atmosphere. I delivered my baby not long after the pool was filled. I was offered pain relief but decided I could manage without. My little girl Jessica arrived safely into the world and the care I recieved was outstanding. I really couldn't have asked for more! The Birth Place is wonderful. The staff where amazing! Thank you so much for the experience and I hope that if I am luckily enough to have more babies that I can be blessed enough to be able to go back and have the same experience all over again.
