"Disgusting parking fine"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

I had driven myself to a&e after incurring a fairly substantial head injury at work. I had blood pouring from the back of my head which had in turn soaked most of the tshirt I was wearing. There was a queue to get in to the car park and time was at the essence, I decided to park my car in a nigh on empty disabled car park. To my absolute disgust after being treated for 2 hours and returning to my car with a large bandage covering at least 50% of my head, I discovered that the heartless and quite frankly lazy parking officer had stuck a £60 fine on my car. In a fit of anger I decided to drive myself home and tried to calm myself down before attempting to contact the hospital reception to file a complaint or at least speak to somebody about appealing the ticket. Unfortunately, after ringing several times for a minimum of 10minutes a times, I gave up and I find myself £60 down. If only the brain dead parking officer had just put 2 and 2 together and realised that maybe as the car park is next to a&e that it may of been left in an emergency. The car was left unlocked I was in that much of a hurry to get seen. What a joke.
