"Nothing but praise for podiatrist"

About: Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust

(as the patient),

I have been experiencing pains with my right foot for nearly a year and have never really took much notice until the pain got so intense that I could hardly walk.

I booked an appointment with my GP at the Talke Pits clinic and was given a choice of dates and times. My GP saw to my foot and referred me the podiatrist who was very thorough, friendly and informative.

As my foot condition was relating to the mechanics of my foot and the structure of my bones, I was referred to the Bio-mechanics Department at the Hanley Health Centre via Stoke-on-Trent Partnership Trust. The podiatrist that saw me, Matthew Hill, was brilliant. He explained what the problem is with my foot and went into depth with the cause and the non-surgical treatment needed. He provided me with my own insoles which unfortunately has not resolved the issue, so he is now referring me to the Orthopedic surgeon.

The process from seeing my GP up until this point has been outstanding and I have nothing but praise for Matthew Hill who is extremely professional and informative.
