I visited the minor injuries unit following a fall, walking the dog. I was seen quickly by a friendly, efficient and kind triage nurse. She carefully examined my wrist, and being fairly sure it was broken, explained the options - there is no x ray provision at the weekend, so I could go to Treliske or have it plastered at Falmouth and wait until Monday for the x ray. With unhappy memories of Treliske the decision was simple. Less than an hour after arriving, I had my arm in plaster, had been given painkillers, tea and biscuits, and can't fault the treatment. It's vital that with the docks, and a university, that we are able to retain this service in Falmouth. Many thanks.
"Superb service"
