"We knew nothing about this"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

We told TRAQS that we were on holiday until late August. So we got an appointment through for the 27th. It was then made to the 29th. We were also away from the 19th July to the 26th. An appointment came through to us during that week from the 24th for a heart ECG. We knew nothing about this.

Dear Keep371

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to the TRAQS team. I am disappointed that the comments recorded within the Choose and Book system informing the hospital of the times you were away do not appear to have been noted.

I am sure you can appreciate that as the hospital is responsible for booking these appointments and sending out all confirmation letters to patients this area is outside our control.

You do not mention which hospital you chose to attend but if you are concerned at the amount of apointments you have received and had to rebook please contact the Patient Advise and Liaison Officer (PALS). The contact information will be on the hospitals website. The PALS officer will be able to take your concerns further on your behalf.

Thank you again for taking the time to respond.
