"First class specialists in Haematology"

About: Nevill Hall Hospital / Clinical Haematology

(as the patient),

Diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia through random blood test a year ago. I went to Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny - the Windsor Suite recently for an appointment. First class specialists in Haematology; nurses could not be more helpful. Cheerful and friendly outpatient Ward. Parking attendant v.helpful in squeezing us in. The only trouble was having to travel 30 miles to get there through the rush hour by 9.30, only to be kept waiting for 90 minutes or more before before seeing the consultant.

Hello JohnP38,

Thank you very much for taking the time to send us your feedback via the Patient Opinion website.

I am sorry to hear that you had to wait 90 minutes to see your consultant. However, it is good to hear that you felt your overall experience of care received at Nevill Hall Hospital was first class.

I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the appropriate staff.

Best wishes,

Sharon
