"Received first class attention when I went for my appointment"

(as the patient),

I received first class attention when I went for my appointment. From handing my appointment letter to the receptionist to seeing the doctor everyone was fantastic. The nurses really looked after me, got me a glass of water, provided a wheelchair for me and wheeled me around for the different checks I had to have.

I was at the hospital for 3 hours – everyone was the same, they all made me feel at ease.

My daughter who came with me and is a nurse herself, said ‘wow’ to the level of care I received.

I have a follow-up appointment at Crosshouse Hospital, I was worried about the appointment at Ayr and would have worried about the next appointment but I feel much easier about it now.

Thank you to all the people at Ayr for looking after me so well.
