What could be improved

I phoned the hospital and I was unable to trace a family member who was admitted to the observation ward.The phone system does not recognise Observation ward. Casualty does not answer, neither does the operator. It is an absolute disgrace that I cannot speak to a person or find out where my Mother is . I am unable to visit and have no idea how she is or even where she is.
