"my time in merseyside hospitals"

About: Warrington Hospital

Having been in warrington, runcorn, broadgreen, and clatterbridge hospitals I would like to thank them for the care I have received. I went to warrington hospital in 93 with shortness of breath they diagnosed I needed an aortic valve replacement, which I had in broadgreen hospital. few years later I went into warrington hospital with an ulcer I stayed in there a week. 3 years ago I tripped on the stairs and I thought I had broken a rib I went to warrington hospital and was told I had bruised the ribs. 2 weeks later I had a letter from warrington hospital that they look at xrays again as a matter of course i found out I had a tumer on my lung as you can imagine this I was told was serious. the doctors at warrington told me they would do everything in there power to get rid of this and after numerous tests, I went back to broadgreen hospital to have surgery on the tumer. I was in there a week and they told me I was clear, what a relief. as a precaution to completely clear the cancer I was to have chemotherapy the, first dose did not agree with me and I ended up in clatterbridge hospital for a week I finished the chemotherapy off at Runcorn hospital. I have now been back at work for two years now and am now 60. I would like to thank everybody involved with my treatment over the years at these hospitals from the appointment clerks to the cleaners to the fabulous nurses and doctors my surgeon mr page my oncologist, what a fantastic bunch of people. By the way the food in these hospitals was really really top. Once again thankyou all for your care.
