"Beware of car parking."

About: Wycombe Hospital

When I attended the hospital for a training day the barriers to the car park were open and the car park was free for that day. I do not hold a staff car park membership and I do not work at high Wycombe hospital. When I returned to my car that day I had a car parking ticket for being a staff member in the public car park. Alternatively if I had of parked in the staff park and as I do not have a car parking permit I would of also got a ticket. I challenged the car park warden about this who wasn't the least bit apologetic or bothered. I have contested the ticket but I felt I should warn others as the same thing has also happened to others that attended the training day with me.

Dear responder

Thank you for your comments. I was sorry to learn of your experience as a staff member whilst parking at one of our hospital sites. It may be worth looking closely at why the ticket was issued and making sure the offence stated was actually being committed. I have noted that you have contested the parking ticket which hopefully will clarify the matter and I wish you every success with that.
