Dear johnb123

Thank you for your kind comments. It must have been very difficult for your sister and her family coping with cystic fibrosis. I am pleased to hear that your sister received excellent treatment and I will pass this on to the staff who will really appreciate the time you have taken to provide this feedback.

Update posted by johnb123 (a relative)

After my sister went into Douglas House she signed up with Dr. Greening at the Western General Edinburgh. who was her doctor for around 30 years. My sister just loved Dr. Greening who wore a tie with Disney cartoon characters on it for the children's wards. My Sister passed away in 2008 but always spoke of the great treatment she received in her life from both Douglas House and The Western General...............

I miss her very much. She was a tough cookie but a very caring person. who did not allow her illness to grind her down. At the age of 15 she took up ladies hairdressing and did that for the rest of her life. She only accomplished this life style through the excellent treatment she received from Dr. Greening and his staff. This is why the NHS is the envy of the world
