"Gall bladder removal"

I could not praise the staff enough. From my admission to discharge at lunchtime on Friday, I could not fault any aspect of care. My post op care was excellent. All the staff were caring and courteous. I was accompanied to the bathroom on my first two occasions out of bed, unlike my experience in a private hospital two years ago where I was left to my own devices with a drain to carry in each hand. I would like to think I am not a troublesome patient but I was a nurse and recognise good nursing care when I see it. I would like to thank the staff of surgical 8 for their excellent care and attention. I hope they raised a lot of money with their coffee morning!
