About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital

Such a good ward, it is a small unit with very little staff but they still proved high quality care as I have been on this ward earlier this year and it where really great care. You can see that staff levels are very low seems some staff work a lot and in my opinion from what I witnessed they work to many hours. But the care I received was absolutely fantastic always go out of their way to help me. I pressed by button as I needed some more water and this caring nurse popped out With a sand which in her hand and said are you okay love I said yes just need more water but finish your lunch first, I saw loads of times nurses not having breaks as they wasn't in the office long enough but they where fantastic really they where. was lacking but as a ex telle communications manager I know that it is a basement ward so maybe signals gets blocked so maybe that's why their isn't hospital radio or bedside TVs. There is one in the day room which is okay. Staff where amazing full marks to the SSU team.
