My mother was admitted to the JPH on 26/8/14 at 1pm in A&E, she was moved to EADU and e entually given a bed on a ward on the evening of 27/8/14. i cannot fault the nurses or care assistants on Ward 16, yes some nurses had a face like a spanked backside, but the majority were helpful and caring. my mum had a blockage in her bowel which to this day is not known what caused it!. i wouldn't want my mum to go back to JPH as they had said it was ok to discharge her even though she had only been eating solid food for 24hrs she left JPH on 13/9/14 but had to be taken to another hospital on 20/9/14 who said in my mums case she was a "Failed Discharge". so my moan is not at nurses or care assistants but at the Dr's decision for my mum to be discharged.
