"second visit"

About: Fulwood Hall Hospital

I was treated a few years ago as a private patient at Fulwood Hall for a bone graft and in the past week for a Prosrtate cancer linked surgical procedure under the ausipces of the NHS I wish it to be known that the service I received excellent service form your team of first class staff, There was not a single member of your staff from reception, to theatre, to room, in a senior or less senior capacity that did not offer me caring and compassionate excellent service, not a single exception. I would like to single out one member of staff, a senior member of the team I believe, who "went the extra mile" for me at the time of my discharge, and beyond. her attitude to her role, me as her patient and your Company as her employer were exemplary in all aspects. It was refreshing to see someone displaying pride in not only her role but in the organisation that she represented, she, and your other team members are an valuable asset to you. On a more "housekeeping" note I was quite suprised to find that none of the higher levels of hotel services which were available to me previously as a private patient were available to me as an NHS patient. I would not expect these services without payment and the services I was afforded were very acceptable and appreciated, I would have happily paid for additional "comfort" services had they been made more available. Could I mention Additional TV Services Newspaper delivery Wider menu choice None of these were critical to my care, all your services offered were first rate, I merely suggest that had I been offered a "menu" of optional services I personally would have availed myself of some of these to my benefit and presumably to the benefit of Ramsey Hospitals group as an additional income. This is only added as a constructive comment, I have absolutely nothing but positive comments regarding my 2nd stay at Fulwood Hall.I still have follow up visits to make following the surgery and My 3rd stay will take place on the 30th October as a day case for an orethopedic procedure, looking forward to the visit may be extending the situation somewhat !!, I am however, looking forward once again to the first class service that you provide, I wish to thank you and all your team for a difficult job, proffesionally and caringly completed. T.H,Howarth JP Please feel free to use my comments as you see fit.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review and for your kind comments. I will ensure your comments are fed back to our staff who appreciate hearing patients' opinions, as they certainly strive to make a positive difference for patients that are visiting us. As you say, we don't currently have a list of optional extras for our room services but I am looking into how we can offer this in the future. Thank you for the suggestion.
