"We owe these people so much..."

About: Leighton Hospital

Personally I don't care how long I have to wait for an appointment, the fact that I have access to the level of care provided by the department and consultants like mine makes me proud and eternally grateful of Leighton and the NHS. The staff have to fight a system that is underfunded and undervalued by the powers that be and yet always manage to remain professional and caring at all times- something I don't think I could do in that situation. Like many people I am very nervous about the prospect of anything to do with eye care but I needn't have been, my two appointments made me feel calm and reassured immediately. I cannot thank the staff enough.

We are very grateful that you have taken the time to contact us regarding the management and care you received when attending the Eye Care centre. We will ensure that your feedback is given to the relevant teams. Staff are delighted to hear when patients feel that they have been well looked after. Matron Helen Nutkins
