I was sent to Lister hospital by my GP 3 days ago with suspected appendicitis.
The day before yesterday I was sent for a CT scan and was then taken back to my ward, in the afternoon the Dr visited me and told me that I had swelling in my abdomen.
This morning the same Dr came to me and said that he didn't think there was anything wrong he the proceeded to palpate the left side of my stomach, baring in mind that any pain felt was on my right side, he said good no pain, I then told him that he was palpating the wrong side, he proceeded to ignore this and then said I could go home.
Tonight I am feeling extremely unwell and have done for a number of weeks! I'm at a loss and really don't know what to do! if you want good care don't go to this hospital, my Cannula was hanging out of my hand, I asked the nurse if she could tape it down or remove it for me, she smiled, nodded her head and then did nothing about it, in the end it fell out!
"Being sent home with no answers!"
