"A sad visit to EPU made easier"

I sadly had to visit EPU (Early Pregnancy Unit) in March this year after a suspected miscarriage. The lady who scanned me was incredibly calm, kind and helped to put me at ease in what was a horrible situation. I felt that I could take as long as I wanted; sometimes when having appointments or medical treatment you can get the feeling that things are being rushed along - this wasn't the case here at all. Everything was explained and I was given leaflets to take home (just as well I I wasn't in the right frame of mind to listen properly). I was treated with dignity and sensitivity and I just wanted to say, thank you.
