I have had vaginal bleeding on and off for 4 years. I have a large fibroid and a polyp. After seeing Mr Nagib in clinic in early September 2014 I was booked in for a hysteroscopy later in September under a general anaesthetic. However, when I arrived on the ward the anaesthetist came to see me and informed me that they intended to do the procedure under a local and not a general anaesthetic.
To cut a long story short, I need not have worried, everyone I came into contact with was kindness itself and I couldn't have wished for better treatment if I'd been the Queen herself! ! Everything went well and I didn't feel a thing.
Just like to say how friendly, approachable and professional everyone concerned was. All power to you gynae.
