I went to Cheltenham after my throat swelled up. Everybody was so helpful as I couldn't talk very well lol. I was seen within half an hour and concidering that it was a Saturday evening and the waiting room was pretty full when I got there I was very impressed to say the least with how quickly the patients where seen. I went to get assessed and was quickly whisked in to a ward where the emergency doctor saw me and explained what would happen next. I was then visited by a nurse who again explained what was happening and acted quickly and calmly when I had a reaction to the penicillin that I was given. The ambulance crew where also lovely really calming and explaining what to expect as it was my first time in an ambulance. I was then transferred to glos royal where I stayed in the ent unit and again they where also very good.
