About: New Cross Hospital

i am my dads full time carer. he had an appointment to under go angioplasty at new cross, we arrived on the ward, he filled in a form and after 2 minutes of arriving i was informed i would have to leave immediately, i tried to explain to the nurse im his full time carer, he as no idea what medication he is on or whats happening. he was very distressed and scared, the nurse allowed me no time to at least explain that the hadn't taken his tablets on this particular morning or that he had continued to be anti coagulant for the days prior to the procedure, my father is terrified of hospitals and has a lot of medical problems. i was allowed to stay with him for all of 2 minutes before i had to leave. i've never seen him so distressed and i think its absolutely terrible i wasn't allowed to stay with him especially as his carer
