"I wan't looking forward to my cararact operation!"

About: Wharfedale Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

Two weeks ago I had a cataract operation on my right eye - a procedure that I was not looking forward to.

But from the moment I walked into Ward 3 at Wharfedale Hospital I received excellent care. The ward nurses and theatre staff were friendly, knowledgable and informative and soon put me at ease. The operation was painless and quickly completed and I am grateful to the surgeon, Mr James Ball.

Ever since, my eyesight has been much better and I can appreciate detail in whatever I am looking at much more. I cannot speak too highly of Whafedale Hospital and hope to have surgery on the cataract in my left eye in the near future.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at Wharfedale Hospital. I am pleased to hear that your operation went well.

I shall make sure that your compliments are passed to Mr Ball and his team on Ward 3.

Thank you once again.
