About: Conquest Hospital

My daughter is waiting to have an operation on her ear , which she will possibly have to cancel as nobody answers the phone and there is no one to consult any more since the change in the appointment system, with an on going ear infection which without the treatment to clear it up the operation can not go ahead. Results came through over 2 weeks ago, and she is still waiting , who is there she can actually speak to, her consultant rang her himself but to actually speak to any one else all she gets is extensions and then no one answers, I think the system has just gone down hill and is getting worse.

We're very sorry to hear about the difficulties your daughter is having with contacting ENT staff at the Conquest Hospital about her operation. As a Trust we are committed to giving the highest quality of care and service to our patients, however, this is clearly not what you describe in your daughters experience and we therefore apologise for the fact that her experience is poor. We would like to assure you that all comments are taken seriously and acted upon. Your posting has been forwarded to the General Manager for ENT. In the meantime we would urge your daughter to contact the Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) who are always happy to liase with Trust staff to resolve queries as quickly as possible.
