"Phlebotomy Unit Blood test"

About: Gravesham Community Hospital

I finally went back and had my blood test done after my failed attempt last week, I decided to go early this time so as not to be disappointed, I was ninth in the Q after getting there at about 08:35 and when I got called in I was on the 1st chair to the right, next to the door. The female nurse I saw turned out to have a great sense of humour and after trying to find blood for 20 seconds dug a little deeper and then said "you would think were digging for oil, sadly she found the slowest vain in the world to get blood from but we still had a laugh about it, she never stressed me or course discomfort and she made you feel at ease, I wish I had taken her name so I could Thank her for making my day, Great service and great staff. I do prefer this hospital to Darent valley ( sorry Darent ) ;-). As per my reviews last week well done for fixing the clock in the receipting and correcting the time which caused the problem last week. its nice to know that when you say your going do something, your going to do it. it really shows that you do listen to people and take action to fix any problems. Well Done guys

Dear Daniel We are delighted to hear that you have now successfully had your blood test carried out in the Phlebotomy Unit at Gravehsam Community Hospital. We will pass on your kind comments to the staff in the Unit and I'm sure the female nurse you saw will recall your conversation. As a Trust we do our best to listen to our patients and act on their feedback whenever it is possible to do so. We are pleased you were happy with the service on this occasion and we hope that continues to be the case in the future.
