"Gynacology operation"

I arrived at 7am to be met by smiling staff who ushered me into the surgical lounge by 9.30am I had seen a registrar who went through all my info and I had been given my gowns and told not to put them on yet. At 3pm after not been told anything and now suffering from severe headache due to not eating or drinking from midnight and been left in a boiling room I asked a nurse who told me she would find out. She came back and went through all my info again and told me to get into my gowns at 3.30pm I was told it looked likely my operation could be cancelled due to no bed for after the operation then at 3.45pm she called me and I walked with her to the operating theatre. I was met by a cheerful nurse who helped me onto the bed a man came in and the nurse said "she has a puffer(inhaler) do you want her to take so e?" He replied "quite frankly I couldn't give a damn" and left the room, the nurse apologised and told me he was tired" he the put his head back in and said to me "take it if you want to". Having not met the anaesthetist before hand this really scared me. He returned took my hand and asked "any other illnesses?" I replied HBP he placed the needle in my hand and another lady came in and said "not yet I haven't done the checks" he told her to hurry up she introduced herself and went through the list of checks with me as I was drifting off. I came round and was returned to the ward after 6pm on the evening. Just because I was last on the list for the operation doesn't mean I needed less care. The surgery I was having had of many factors to it that I didn't know what I had actually had done until 8am the next morning when the surgeon came to see me, he said I was ok to go home even though I had not kept anything down and the nurse in charge of my care at the time said it would be much later in the day if I was going to be discharged. I asked my nurse for my BP tablets that I had brought in with me he said he would get them, when he returned I was been sick again he passed me a bowl and pulled the curtain around, the bile overflowed and I called out for another bowl it was actually another patient who brought me one. He did return eventually after I hassle cleaned myself and got completely changed (an aux nurse had changed my bed). He then did my temp and blood pressure he was called away whilst taking my blood pressure. 2hrs later he removed it. Another nurse took over and asked if I needed some pain relief she looked in my notes and said "Sharon you only had some an hour ago" I replied I am not called Sharon, the lady on the next bed who was waiting to go home said I'm Sharon. The nurse looked in folder at the end of the bed but no notes where there she said I'll go and find them with that another nurse arrived with my discharge notes and medication. The nurse returned and said "you can have co-codamol. The lady next to me asked why her notes where in my folder and the nurse said "the wrong ones went down to the chemist yours have gone now"
