My husband was admitted to the Urology dept. Terrible communication from doctors/consultants, didn't bother to get back to him to discuss tests etc. Devastating diagnosis contained in discharge letter, but didn't bother to discuss this with him while he was in the hospital. Lymphedema nurse supposed to see him on the day of discharge but didn't turn up, no explanation offered. Absolutely pathetic!! I don't know how they get away with this behaviour.
