About: Northwick Park Hospital

Rang and asked politely to put through to a&e the girl who answered sounds like she wanted to sleep no telephone manners (1.00pm). Put through to a&e they picked up and put the receiver down we sat listening to their conversation "about it was pay day this week, also applying for a.job etc etc.I would not employ them. Not appropriate. Between the operator and a&e we were put through to different ext numbers. Eventually, someone from one of the numbers gave us the number direct and that's when we had some response. A receptionist should be a receptionist (politeness, helpful, clearly spoken etc). Training I think is needed.
