"My Experiance with pain management at this hspt."

I am disabled and unable to walk far for any lengh of time. Given that pain management is near the far back and you need to park at the front, even the disabled spots are miles away! I was struggling a lot and suffering from severe pain after my consultation. Yet the EMS Dr's park right outside. I find this unexceptable and this area should be the designated area for disabled. Also on the parking / access situation. I found it extremely confusing on where I should go as the signs are not clear at all. As I left the hspt. I went into a mild spam, I am used to this. I watched 4 nurses pass. Yes they were nurses and they just looked at me and didnt even ask if I was ok. I felt a bit of anger as I am gripping the rails of the side wall on my way out.

We are very sorry to hear that you feel you have not received the high standard of service we always aim to deliver. We have encountered parking limitations for some time now and despite several application to the council these have not been fulfilled. We do have some exciting development plans in place which will include 150 additional car parking spaces. We do currently have dedicated bays identified as disabled parking adjacent to the main doors, I am sorry if these were full. Listening to and acting on feedback is important to us and we would like to take the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your experience, particularly around the signs and our staff. We have a thorough process for considering any complaint we receive and look upon it as an opportunity to identify how we might improve our service; to arrange this, please contact me on telephone number 01482 672 405. Kind regards, Rachel Conyers Head of Clinical Services
